Marketing Director

We currently seek an energetic and motivated Marketing Director to plan, develop, implement and manage all outward facing Marketing efforts, including market research, content development, marketing communications, public relations/media, events, partner relationships, web presence and ecommerce. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong cross functional collaboration with the executive team and all departments.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Research ViewCast�s target markets through available market data and direct customer contact
  • Work closely with ViewCast�s executive team to develop marketing strategies and plans
  • Develop the marketing messaging to clearly articulate ViewCast�s value
  • Ownership of ViewCast�s corporate web presence including video content
  • Lead, direct and manage the implementation of strategic marketing plans
  • Manage relationships with ViewCast�s partners
  • Ensure consistent messaging and articulation of ViewCast�s value proposition in all communications
  • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to employees in marketing department
  • Lead and direct the collection and use of competitive and marketing intelligence
  • Coordinate external communications and product launch strategies
  • Provide messaging and graphics for all special events (trade shows, reseller shows, sales trainings, corporate events, etc.)
  • Manage the creation of content for sales kit marketing materials, brochures, sell sheets, etc.
  • Responsible for ideas to execution for all promotional materials, including but not limited to creation of logos, stationary packages, brochures, trade show signage, print ads, etc
  • Manage outside vendors when utilized
  • Provide channel support for graphics, brochures, online graphics, and other reseller needs to market ViewCast products
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget

  • 10+ years experience in leading high-tech marketing organizations

DSP developer

We currently seek a highly motivated Video DSP developer to implement real-time DSP-based audio/ video processing algorithms for the next-generation Osprey high-definition video capture cards and Niagara media encoders.

Candidate must have design experience in many of the following areas:

  • Adaptive de-interlacing and Inverse Telecine detection and processing
  • Video noise reduction algorithms
  • Video scaling / resampling
  • Color space conversion
  • Bitmap overlay sizing, scaling, transparency management, etc.
  • Audio processing, including AGC, noise filtering, resampling, mixing, surround effects (SRS/WOW), etc.

Required Qualifications

  • Documented history of development of efficient, real-time video products with a DSP architecture
  • Experience using TI Code Composer Studio development environment
  • Strong C software development skills.
  • Low-level (assembly) software development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • BS/MS in EE, Computer Science, or Mathematics and 5+ years of experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience developing with Texas Instruments DaVinci- class DSP products

Applications Engineer

We currently seek an Applications Engineer with 10 years sales/system support expertise related to video industry. Language experience should include C++, C-sharp, .Net & Java. Strong customer and project management skills. The ability to guide and influence customer and OEM development efforts ensuring a satisfactory implementation of Viewcast technology. Demonstrated experience managing customer expectations and concerns during pressurized situations. Here are the duties:

  • Define/outline customer integration requirements and provide application support and guidance to customers using the Viewcast SDK.
  • Thoroughly review and comprehend customer inquiry packages including relevant specifications, requirements, and terms.
  • Assist with the development of ViewCast products as required and/or identify/develop technical solutions to address partner/OEM customer requirements.
  • Partner with Viewcast product and development teams to facilitate customer/OEM features and functions into ViewCast products.
  • Perform project work varying in complexity requiring the application of technical and analytical skills.
  • Interact with customers and OEMs providing technical leadership to facilitate the most effective use of the Viewcast products and technology.
  • Provide project guidance that result in effective implementation timelines and results.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer base and industry, their current and emerging challenges.
  • Provide application training as required, develop technical presentations/documentation.
  • Minimal travel required (5-10%)

Senior Technical Support Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Technical Support Engineer in our fast-paced environment. In this position, you will:

  • Provide second and third level technical support to customers, OEMs and resellers via phone and email for complex technical integration and video streaming applications.
  • Troubleshoot problems and find workable solutions for a large diverse customer base, working with sales, engineering and marketing as appropriate to best address customer needs.
  • Document problems and report design, reliability or maintenance issues to QA, engineering and product management.
  • Limited travel to customer locations to resolve complex technical issues
  • Up to 25% travel may be required

You must bring the following to the table:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience troubleshooting MS Windows, networks and PC hardware and software.
  • An in-depth technical support background
  • Familiarity with the latest streaming media encoding and digital media content creation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and within project schedules.
  • Highly developed troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent phone and customer communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex technical issues in pressurized situations
