ViewCast Signs Distribution Agreement with Ambient Media
Agreement strengthens ViewCast’s position as streaming media leader in Iberia
PLANO, Texas — May 18, 2009 — ViewCast Corporation (OTCBB: VCST), a developer of industry-leading hardware and software for the transformation, management and delivery of professional quality video over IP and mobile networks, today announced that Ambient Media, a distributor focused exclusively on audio-visual technology and solutions, is now an authorized distributor/importer of ViewCast products in Spain and Portugal. Under the terms of the agreement, Ambient Media will serve as a key source on the Iberian Peninsula for ViewCast’s comprehensive portfolio of products, including the award-winning Osprey® video capture cards and Niagara® encoding systems, together with post-sales service and support.

The telecom markets in Spain and Portugal, in particular, have emerged as principal growth areas in Europe. Continued growth is expected particularly in broadcast, telecom, education and corporate communications - all sectors in which ViewCast’s plug-and-play solutions stand out among its competitors’ products.
