Niagara Appliance System Updates

ViewCast Niagara encoding appliances can be updated using the USB interface. The USB memory device that you use should be blank and contain only one partition. USB Flash drives that have a built in auto launch will not work.
You should only update your system if you are experiencing issues. Updates to your system may change the user interface, encoding profiles, performance, etc. Please review the instructions carefully before starting an update because the process may not be reversible without returning the appliance to ViewCast.
You can find your current version by going to the Configuration Niagara Properties Web page on the system and finding the SKU# (in the form 92-00xxx-xx). Note that revisions A, B, etc, may not show.
